■ 100% Competable with ON_OFF_A
■ TAG_DOWN is a MINI download-door, which is 100% compatible with RA_2_TAG.
■ Gives an user more DETAILED information than the internal downloadoption
from RA like: DL-TIME, spacial files-status information like FREE,
FREE-TIME, COST, PASSWORD and if a file is being copied from CD-rom.
■ Easy to install.
■ Uses DSZ as downloadprotocol. Other protocols are optional.
■ The description-file is counted in the total of downloaded files, but
will NOT be counted in the users-status.

[ 0 ] Special thanks to....
I want to say "THANKS" to all ßETA-testers of this program.
├───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┤
[ 1 ] Installation
Set DSZPORT=?
Set DSZLOG=?
These two environment variables are necessary to make this program work.
The program will check if these variables are SET. If not, the program
will be HALTED!
The '?' means: DSZPORT=1 for com1, DSZPORT=2 for com2 i.e.,
DSZLOG=DSZ_LOG.1 for line_1, DSZLOG=DSZ_LOG.2 for line_2.
You do not have to enter the PATH.
With these settings this program works operates 100% multiline!!!
This program makes use of 200 kbytes conventional DOS-memory.
If you want to be able to make an optimum use of your memory the *M
parameter should be used in RA.
Add to the 200 kbytes DOS-memory de size of your FILES.RA file.
This will be the total amount of memory this program makes use of and
that makes this program work for 100%.
If you don't have enough memory available it can happen that the last
areas are not listed.
A maximum of 2500 file-areas is being read. If you have more then that
the program will not list them. These will always be the LAST areas!
A maximum of 100 files can be read from the tagfile and processed.
Install as a menu type 7 with the parameters:
<path>TAG_DOWN.EXE *X *M {Download option}
RA gives the possibility to write and read the tagfile with *X and to swap
with *M.
The EXITINFO.BBS and DORINFO?.DEF and TAGFILE.RA are being read and written
in the CURRENT directory (the RA directory).
├───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┤
[ 2 ] The .CFG-file and RA configuration
The file TAG_DOWN.CFG is the standard .CFG-file, but I strongly advice you
to make more .CFG-files if and when you are running a multiline system.
Copy the TAG_DOWN.CFG to TAG_DOWN.1 for line 1 and TAG_DOWN.2 for
line 2 i.e..
; ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
;
; ONLY_TAGFILE : If this option is active, the door needs a tagfile.
; If the user didn't tag any file, the door will tell
; him/her that a file must be tagged first!
;
; If this option is NOT active, the user can give filenames
; at random, the so called 'global download'.
;
;ONLY_TAGFILE
;
; ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
;
; AFTER_COPY : If this option is used, the program will run after having
; copied the file(s) from CD-rom, so you can banner your

; Use a % character for the LINE_NUMBER! Example:
; C:\UTILS\BANNER.EXE C:\RA\CD-ROM\%\*.* C:\UTILS\BANNER.TXT

;
FILENAME: JHR_ID
;
; ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
;
; ADD_FILE : If you use this option, you can add a file to the download.

[ 3 ] Limits and Ratio
This program supports the RA ratio-system for 100%!
├───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┤
[ 4 ] Ansi screens
It is wise to have de AVT/ANS/ASC screens in the same directory as this
program. As an extension of the screens you may use the corresponding
languagenumber.
AV1/AN1/AS1 is being used for language-number 1 i.e.
If there is no special screen available for an user, the standard screen
will be used.
You should NOT place a clear-screen-code in de files:
DL_UL_ST.AS? and X-MODEM.AS? because some data will be lost if you do!
├───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┤
[ 5 ] Language
The following language-number are being used by this program:
- 1 - 2 - 68 - 121 - 129 - 177 - 178 - 199 - 200 - 201 - 202 -
- 203 - 204 - 205 - 206 - 207 - 208 - 209 - 212 - 214 - 215 - 216 -
- 217 - 218 - 235 - 239 - 258 - 378 - 494 - 509 - 607 - 608 - 609 -
- 612 - 613 - 614 - 615 - 617 - 620 - 626 - 630 - 638 - 647
When you are running a multiline system, I should advice you to place the
language-files in a RAM-DRIVE. It will speed up the program progressively!
├───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┤
[ 6 ] Registration
This program is Shareware and may be used freely for 31 days.
After that period you have to registrate. See the file REGISTER.ENG
that will inform you about the amount of money you have to pay and
how you become a registered user!
├───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┤
[ 7 ] Technical information
The tagfile is build as shown in the RA documentation.
The tagfile with CD-rom requests information is build as the tagfile from
RA, but the first record is filled as follows:
Name := first 12 characters of the username
Password := remaining 15 characters of the username
Cost := Userrecord position
XferTime := Userrecord position
In this way the program checks if the tagfile belongs to a specific user, and
RA_2_REQ knows which user should receive a message.
This program was developed with the 'assistance' of:
J_COM_01.ARJ and J_UNI_09.ARJ.
Both files are requestable from my system.
